As a growing, award-winning technology startup and the leader of the software-defined server space, we have to think big and move quickly to have an impact in a market dominated by entrenched providers of big hardware and even bigger price tags. And with 2020 underway, we’ve kicked off this new year with a wave of activity, exciting announcements, and new strategies to capitalize on our current momentum and growth we experienced in 2019. Here’s a rundown.
IBM veterans join our executive ranks
To start, we’ve added key players to our executive ranks as we expand our go-to-market efforts in the enterprise space. Greg Shomstein joins as Vice President of Enterprise Sales from IBM Cognitive Systems and Adam Bane joins as Vice President of Product Management from IBM Cloud Division. These two IBM veterans are bringing their deep technological expertise and enterprise experience to TidalScale’s team.

Forward-thinking customers get software-defined
In addition to new team members, we’re adding forward-thinking customers from around the world. Mohawk Industries, the world’s largest flooring manufacturer, leverages TidalScale’s software-defined server technology to quickly create new systems of any size. They also provision lower-cost copies of large systems from commodity 2-socket servers for QA and disaster recovery.
Also joining our roster of innovative customers is NCS Analytics, a leader in data-driven solutions for governments and financial institutions interacting with traditionally high-risk industries. With TidalScale software, NCS is able to give its data analytics team access to as much memory as they need to run even their largest, most granular models, shrinking the time needed to process a single model from 30 days to 3 hours.
Linking arms with industry heavyweights
We’ve been busy building out our Global Partner Ecosystem with dozens of resellers, solution providers and go-to-market partners including Infosys, Sirius, and Lenovo. All of these valued organizations have seen firsthand the groundbreaking impact that TidalScale technology has on modern IT environments, and we’re proud that they’ve decided to link arms with us to bring the value of software-defined servers to more organizations in more geographies.
